21st Annual Brownotter Buffalo Auction - Ron & Carol Brownotter, Owners - Bullhead, South Dakota
ONLINE BIDDING begins to close at 2:00pm CST, Monday November 8th, 2021.
Buffalo located in the heart of buffalo country, near Bullhead, SD (from McLaughlin SD, 10.5 miles south on Hwy 63, 17.5 miles west on BIA 4, and 8.5 miles north to the ranch). Selling their entire 2021 Buffalo Calf crop--over 400 prime head including 200+ Bull Calves (heavy and medium weight lots) and 200+ Heifer Calves (heavy and medium weight lots). Also selling 30 Yearling Bulls.
UPDATE: All Brownotter Buffalo have dangle ear tags and ID ear clips for identification. All have Dectomax injectable, 7 Way, and Mycoplasma. Heifers are OCV. Health papers furnished for transport, however, any additional Vet work required is at the Buyers risk and cost. Weights were taken Nov. 2-4 on electronic scale (non certified). Loadout/working facilities are excellent. Payment by wire transfer only. Buffalo loadout only after wire transfer has been verified. Seller will guarantee a healthy (non-injured) buffalo on your truck/trailer.

Note: “Linked lots” explanation. All sublots (a,b,c, etc.) will remain open for bidding until no further bids are received on any sublots in the main lot (Lot 1, 2, 3, ect.) This helps ensure volume buyers an opportunity to build a larger lot. Bid carefully, as you will be expected to purchase any lots sold to you, regardless of your needs. All bidding by the “per head” basis.
The “Light” cut bull and heifer calves are retained annually and sold next year as Yearling Bulls, yearling heifers are traditionally kept for replacements.
50+ of these mixed calves are from the Rock Creek Tribal Pasture. These calves are all from Brownotter Cows/Bulls. They are building their herd annually!
