22nd Annual Brownotter Buffalo Auction - Ron & Carol Brownotter, Owners - Bullhead, South Dakota
ONLINE BIDDING begins to close at 2:00pm CST, Wednesday, November 16th, 2022.
Buffalo are located in the heart of buffalo country, near Bullhead, SD (from McLaughlin SD, 10.5 miles south on Hwy 63, 17.5 miles west on BIA 4, and 8.5 miles north to the ranch). Selling their entire 2022 Buffalo Calf crop--over 375 prime head including 140+/- Bull Calves (heavy and medium weight lots) and 150+ Heifer Calves (heavy and medium weight lots). Also selling 40+/- Yearling Bulls and 45+/- Yearling Heifers.
UPDATE: All Brownotter Buffalo have dangle ear tags and ID ear clips for identification. All have Ivermectin injectable, 7 Way, Nasalgen PMH and Mycoplasma. Heifers are OCV. Health papers furnished for transport, however, any additional Vet work required is at the Buyers risk and cost. Weights were taken Nov. 8-9 on electronic scale (non certified). Loadout/working facilities are excellent. Payment by wire transfer only. Buffalo loadout only after wire transfer has been verified. Seller will guarantee a healthy (non-injured) buffalo on your truck/trailer.

-93 Medium Bull Calves – 290-409#, Average weight 355 pounds. Sold gate cut from the pen of 93 head, in 5 lots, a-e. Lots are linked.
-41 Yearling Bulls – 514-800#, Average weight 659 pounds. Sold gate cut from the pen of 41 head, in 4 lots, a-d. Lots are linked.
-45 Yearling Heifers – 536-784#, Average weight 646 pounds. Sold gate cut from the pen of 45 head, in 4 lots, a-d. Lots are linked.
Note: “Linked lots” explanation: All lots (example: Lot 1a, 1b, 1c) of each category (example: Heavy Heifer Calves) will remain open for bidding until no further bids are received on any lot within that category. This helps ensure volume buyers have an opportunity to buy multiple lots. Any buyer may still bid on and purchase any one of the lots individually even though the lots are linked. All bidding by the “per head” basis.
The “Light” cut bull and heifer calves are retained annually and sold next year as Yearling Bulls and Yearling Heifers.
